In 2020, during the height of the pandemic, Chelsea launched Gadabout Maine. While always an outdoor enthusiast, the mandate to stay within Maine's borders inspired a new, deeper connection to her beloved state. Through Gadabout Maine's active social media following, Chelsea chronicles her adventures throughout Vactionland, showcasing must-do hikes, unforgettable stays, not to miss eats and adventures for all ages.

Gadabout Maine started as a fun outlet during an otherwise immensely isolating time. But upon leaving My College Audition in January 2022, these adventures soon became a beacon, a stepping stone to help figure out what comes next after leaving a job so deeply intertwined with one's identity.
On New Years Eve, while considering the newfound swath of time on her hands, Chelsea committed to completing 100 New Adventures in Maine by year end - hoping, somewhat desperately, that upon completion she'd have clarity surrounding what her next steps should be. Chelsea's adventures and the people of Maine she met along the way turned into a beautiful, winding journey of the telephone game while on the formidable search for what comes next.

Chelsea documented her journey through a series of mini personal essays, or succinct love letters to Maine and it's people. Told through the lens of personal narrative with enough practical information for readers to take these adventures into their own hands, Chelsea's debut Travel Memoir will be published by Islandport Press in early fall of '23.
